Sundays with All Souls
At All Souls, we’re about the mystery and beautiful grace of God, as well as excellent coffee, laughing children, laid back liturgy, the occasional banjo, and intentionally practicing worship together. There’s no dress code here: you’ll see everything from cycling gear to cowboy boots with a fair amount of flannel thrown in.
What to Expect
Our strange and beautiful worship is filled with rooted tradition and imagination. We follow the same simple formative pattern, or liturgy, each week. Regular folk come up from the pews to lead us in each element, from Praise to Confession to Passing the Peace. We sing new songs and ancient hymns together and listen to a 20 minute sermon before taking Communion feast each week. It can be a lot to take in, especially if it’s your first time, and we encourage everyone to participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable. We strive to be a safe and welcoming place for those with questions or reservations about Christianity. You do not have to believe to belong. The most important ingredient of our service is our communal faith, love, and hope.
Kids & Youth
Children: Birth – 24 months
Our Nursery is available for babies through 24 months for the entire service, located on the downstairs level. If you have an infant or toddler who is more content being with you during the service and needs a place for care, there is a Cry Room with comfy chairs and a changing table located in the back of the sanctuary.
Children: 2 years – 5th grade
We believe in including children in our service, and children ages 2 years and older worship with their families for the first part of the service. Children will be dismissed following the blessing of the children to go to their age appropriate Kids Ministry class. If this is your first time at All Souls, please go with your child to check in and meet the class leader. You may pick up your children after the sermon so we can pray for them during our time of communion.
